Job Description:

- Ensure that patients in the Emergency Department needing immediate attention are stabilized and properly cared for according to current medical practices.
- Maintain and manage all medical records accurately.
- Conduct immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients.
- Collaborate effectively with emergency department staff, adhering to necessary compliance.
- Respond promptly to cardiac or cardiopulmonary arrest situations.
- Provide discharge instructions and complete necessary patient paperwork.
- Utilize available personnel appropriately to stabilize patients during multiple emergencies.
- Review and interpret all medical reports including laboratory and x-ray results.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all hospital policies and procedures.
- Attend mandatory education programs sponsored by the hospital annually.
- Adhere to the hospital's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance program.

- Perform physical tasks such as bending, carrying, climbing stairs, lifting, pushing, reaching, and stooping as required by job functions. Accommodations will be made where feasible.
