Job Description

An emergency medicine physician, also known as an ER doctor, provides immediate medical care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries:

• Assess and stabilize: Evaluate a patient's condition, make a tentative diagnosis, and determine the appropriate treatment
• Treat: Provide immediate treatment for injuries, infections, and other conditions
• Refer: Determine the next step for the patient's care, such as admission to the hospital, discharge, or referral to a specialist
• Educate: Instruct patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan
• Document: Record all patient care activities and monitor the patient's progress
• Maintain knowledge: Stay up to date on medical developments and best practices

Emergency medicine physicians work in a fast-paced environment, and must be able to think and act quickly. They often work as part of a team with other physicians and emergency department staff.

• In search of a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join an excellent team. Board-eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine. Great work-life balance with ten to twelve, twelve hour shifts a month.
