A recognized health services network in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team in Texarkana and provide high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center.

About the Opportunity:

• Assignment Length: 6+ months
• Shifts: Days or Nights
• Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
• Setting: Emergency Department (with 10 beds)
• Patient Volume: approx. 28 patients per day
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Collaborating with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Documenting patient encounters accurately in EPIC
• Managing critical care and stabilization for admitted patients
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM)
• Completed EM or FM residency training
• Active and unrestricted state medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in EMR systems

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in similar Emergency settings
• Working knowledge of EPIC
