Group of 20 years has an immediate need for a Full Time or Part Time EM provider at our location just South of San Antonio. 24 Hour shifts are available at $225 per hour. If you would like to block shifts we have lodging nearby for your convenience.

HOSPITAL INFORMATION:

• Total Number of Hospital Beds: 44 beds, state-of-the-art acute care facility
• Total Number of ED Beds: 10
• Trauma Level Designation: N/A
• Annual ED Volume: 11,000

required by position:

• Full-Time/Part-Time(ED): BC/EM or BC/FP/IM with ED experience
• Hours/ED Shifts Per Day: 24/hrs.; 7am-7pm; 7pm-7am
• Do providers need the following certifications:

ACLS: Yes

ATLS: Yes (B/C EM not required)

PALS: Yes

ED OPERATIONS INFORMATION:

• Admission Percentage: 6.9%
• Average Patients per Hour: 1.2
• Transfer Rate: 6.1%
• Will ED provider be expected to write orders? Transition orders for transferring the patient to the floor with a time limit
• Designated Trauma Team? Yes
• Specialty back-up: EMT, GI, Cardiology without intervention, Orthopedic, Wound Care and Nephrology
• Specialty not represented on staff: Ob/Gyn, Neurosurgeon, Inpatient Pediatrics, Hematology and Oncology
