Patients per day: 110
Staff Support: full nursing, 12 hours of APP coverage daily,
Current EHR in use: Cerner
Number of beds: 42
70% of total admis received from ED
22% of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day
Trauma Level: 3
Annual ER Volume: 40,000
Fast track in ED - Yes, staffed by APP
15% of total ED volume treated by Fast Track
Locum will be required to supervise other health care providers: APP and residents
ED staff does not respond to house codes
Hospitalist writes admission orders

Procedures/Skills Required:

Family Medicine Procedures/Skills: Adult Outpatient, Pediatric-General Outpatient, Newborn resuscitation, Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures, Suturing of minor lacerations, Incision & Drainage, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated adult, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated child/adolescent, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated geriatric, Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems, Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation, Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues, Central Line, Arterial Line, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, EM related procedures

Expenses:
Car, fuel, mileage, hotel is a BR50 cap (including taxes)Does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees No lodging booked through 3rd party websites, ie expedia, kayak, etc McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging
Malpractice must be included in rates
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate

Rates to Submit:
Orientation - 1/2 of hourly rate for orientation and training
Hourly - BR00/hour
Holiday - 1.5x
OT - 1.5x
Conversion Fee

Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Kronos - no timesheets will be approved

Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR

• Board Certified (No BE) must be ABEM or AOBEM - Required, no exceptions
• ED experience - highly preferred
• MI License - Required at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC
• BLS - Required
• Provider must be local - REQUIRED, no exceptions
• Must have clean background for quick credentialing - REQUIRED no exceptions
• Please submit rates at time of name clear- rate cap BR00/hour - Required, will not send to client without rates
• Please provide desired shift from list above - Required

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : ABEM, AOBEM, ACLS, BLS, PALS - Hep B, MMR, Varicella - vaccine series or immune titer Flu - for current flu season Covid Documentation TB - within 12 months TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
