DocStar Medical Partners client is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician for an assignment in Kentucky. All travel expenses covered for ongoing assignment

Shift Description 12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a

MANDATED Job Requirements:

• Must have active KY license and DEA at time of presentation
• Will accept providers with IMLC licenses that have Letter of Qualification
• Must have clean file and claims history background- All claims history must be presented to MSP coordinator before presentation sent over.
• MUST be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine. WILL ONLY ACCEPT ABEM PROVIDERS WITH A COMPLETED RESIDENCY IN EM. NO OTHER SPECIALITES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Certification Requirements:

• ATLS
• BLS
• PALS

License Requirements:

• Kentucky

Job Description: MUST be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine. FACILITY WILL ONLY ACCEPT ABEM PROVIDERS WITH A COMPLETED RESIDENCY IN EM. NO OTHER SPECIALITES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Additional Information:

• New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-25
• 24-hour Cath Lab
• Scribes work alongside physicians
• Additional 10-bed overflow unit
• No Call
• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Residency requirements- EM residency required
• Temporary Privileges: Most files are granted temporary privileges prior to the credentials meeting being held due to the rapid turn-around time.
• EMR- Epic
• ED Volume- 65,000
• Specialty Back Up: All specialty backup available, except for Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery
• MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $180.00 per hour
