We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Dickinson, ND. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
The position involves 12-hour shifts, with day shifts running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The emergency department has an average patient volume of 1.5 patients per hour.
In this role, you will provide emergency care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and seniors. Responsibilities include performing a full range of emergency procedures, such as intubations, chest tube placements, central lines, critical care, procedural sedation, and airway management. You must also manage OB/GYN emergencies, including deliveries, and handle adult and pediatric resuscitations. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and maintaining accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system will be essential.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Active NorthDakota medical license.
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and a valid DEA license.
- Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in performing a broad range of emergency procedures.
- Strong ability to manage patients of all ages and medical complexities effectively.
