We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a busy emergency department in Dixon, IL. As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions. You will collaborate with other emergency medicine providers to deliver high-quality care in a team-oriented environment. Your duties will include conducting patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatments necessary to stabilize and manage their conditions. Additionally, you will document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. You will work under double coverage, ensuring that you are supported by another emergency medicine provider throughout your shift, allowing for a collaborative and efficient approach to patient care.

Position Details:

• Shift Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Double Coverage: You will work alongside other emergency medicine physicians.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM).
• Residency Trained in Emergency Medicine - Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) candidates will not be accepted for this position.
• Active Illinois Medical License.
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
