Locums - Council Bluffs, Iowa, Emergency Medicine Job (IMLC Accepted)
  • Clinical Role:

    • Start: 1/13/25
    • Days per month: 4-12 starting in January 2025
    • Shifts: 6:30a-2:30p, 1:30p-10:30p, 9:30p-6:30a
    • Duties: Routine ER duties, Codes, ER locums do not have a lot of Trauma responsibilities
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Dictation: Dragon, No Scribes
    • Support Staff: 12-20 Hrs. of APP Coverage, Easy transfer center process
    • Reason for Coverage: Transition
    • Annual volume: 22,000 per year, 77% Discharge, 14% Admissions, 4% LBTC, 2.8% Observation, 2.5% transfer
    • Minimum Education: M.D., D.O.
    • Training: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine), can consider BC FM or IM (with minimum 5 years ED experience)
    • Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months
    • IA License - Highly Preferred or IMLC
    • ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
    • DEA Required
    • Malpractice - Clean Preferred
