ER Physician - Nocturnist Opportunity
Shifts: 6a-3p, 11a-9p, 3p-12a, 9p-6a
Compensation: $250 per night (1099 contract)

Seeking a dedicated and skilled ER Physician to join our team as a Nocturnist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-volume emergency department in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Our emergency department sees approximately 46,000 patients

Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population during overnight shifts.

  • Manage a variety of emergency medical conditions and collaborate with an APP to ensure patient care is timely and effective.

  • Utilize Meditech for patient documentation and information management.

  • Maintain excellent communication with staff, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Participate in emergency department operations, case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or related specialty).

  • Licensed to practice in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

  • Experience in a high-volume ER setting is preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Proficient in the use of Meditech or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Ability to work independently during nocturnal hours and collaborate with a team of healthcare providers.
