Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages experiencing acute medical conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform necessary emergency procedures and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
  • Communicate with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Actively mentor and train junior medical staff and students, promoting a culture of learning and development.

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification/Board eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State.
  • New graduates are welcome
  • Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Willingness to contribute to ongoing professional development and stay updated with advancements in emergency medicine.
