Locums - Texas Emergency Medicine/Hospitalist Hybrid Job (2 Hours from Lubbock)
- Clinical Role:
- Seeking board certified or truly board eligible emergency medicine physician (family medicine trained is accepted)
- Locum job opening
- 11/21-11/30
- ER/inpatient hybrid program - you must have recent ER and inpatient experience
- Certifications Required:
- Board Certified
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Emergency Medicine/ Family Medicine with EM experience
- Schedule:
- Start Time: ASAP
- Typical End Time: Noon on 11/30
- Avg Nightly Callbacks: minimal
- Clinical:
- Total Beds: 14
- Avg Daily Encounters: 4
- ICU Beds: None
- Procedures Required: Cardioversion, Central Line Placement, Chest Tube Placement, EKG, Fracture Stabilization, Hematoma Blocks, I&D, IO Lines, Intubation, Laceration Repair, Local Anesthetic, RSI, Ventilator Mgmt
- Additional Responsibilities: this is covering the ED and the inpatient floor
- Will there be midlevel (APP) help: No, sole provider
- EMR: CPSI
- Organization/Area Information:
- Sleeping amenities: Single bedroom house a few blocks from the hospital. Carport without garage. Steps into house. Full kitchen, bathroom, laundry machines, living room
- Credentialing timeline: temps will be granted
- Licensing expedition available? Must have active TX license
