• Emergency Physician (Labor Pool)
• ED US Faculty (.25 FTE protected) / ED Attending (.75 FTE)
  • Three-year ACGME accredited program with eight residents in each academic year
  • Eight core faculty in addition to the program director
  • Growing GME department includes ED, FM, TY, IM, OB & Pharmacy residencies
  • State-of-the-art SIM lab led by dedicated ED physician
  • Serve as a GME ultrasound liaison to the ED Director and Ultrasound Systems Director (EM-trained physician)
• Very competitive hourly rate w/night differential
• ED residency program
• 80,000+ visits/year
• 500-bed, Level II tertiary care center
• 90 hours provider coverage per day
• 9-hour shifts available
• Certified stroke, trauma & cardiac center

RIVERSIDE DOCTORS’ HOSPITAL (Williamsburg)

• Physician/Director role
• Provide clinical leadership to ED physicians and APPs
• Collaborate with all ED staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency care
• Collaborate with quality and safety personnel to ensure the ED Service Line and Riverside Health System standards of care are met
• Exemplify service excellence
• Work with the Patience Advocate and Experience Coordinator to resolve patient complaints and grievances
• Facilitate outreach with local EMS
• Promote Riverside Doctors’ Hospital programs to community stakeholders in our service area
• Residence within Riverside Doctors Hospital Williamsburg service area is preferred
• 18,000+ visits/year
• 70-million-dollar, state-of-the-art, 40-bed hospital
• Must be ABEM/AOBEM certified in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years clinical practice, with leadership experience
• Must be BC/BE
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers

RIVERSIDE SMITHFIELD HOSPITAL (Smithfield)

• ED Director (.25 FTE protected) / ED Attending (.75 FTE)
• Emergency Physician (Full-time)
• Brand new Riverside Smithfield Hospital (opening in late 2025/early 2026)
• 50-bed facility
• Approximately 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Emergency Department
• 14 treatment rooms, a trauma room and additional treatment spaces
• DNV-accredited
• Very competitive hourly rate w/night differential
• Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers

MD EXPRESS (Hampton Roads)

• Urgent Care Physician
• 12-hour shifts (9am-9pm)
• Open 7 days a week
• Rotate through 5 area locations (Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester.)
• EPIC EMR
• Must be BC/BE in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Unable to sponsor J1 visa providers
