Sierra Emergency Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE EM physician to join its independent, democratic group of physicians in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.

• Contracted with Adventist Health Sonora since 1993
• Excellent relationship with the hospital serving in multiple leadership roles
• Equal standing among all shareholders

Adventist Health Sonora Hospital

• 72 bed acute care hospital
• ED volume of 36,000 per year
• Sole hospital in Tuolumne County
• Serves population of 100,000
• Cerner EMR

Position Details

• One year shareholder track
• $40,000 sign on bonus plus $50,000 loan repayment for five-year contract
• SLRP: State Loan Repayment Program eligible
• Flexibility to choose number of shifts per month
• Compensation calculated as base rate plus RVU
• Nights optional after first year, additional bonus if worked
• 8-9 hour shifts, 44 hours of physician coverage, 20 hours APP
