Critical Access Hospital is looking to hire a Hospitalist IM or FM or Emergency Medicine Physician just outside Spokane, Washington!

This group experiences long tenure will all their MDs because they provide an awesome work life balance. They really take care of their providers.

This role Hospitalist Internal Medicine , Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician - Hospitalist will cover the inpatient floors to include the ER/urgent care :

• average 8 new patients in the ED per 24 hours.
• 24 hr shift 1 day a week plus 1 weekend a month = minimum shifts needed
• $130/hr working 1900 hours a year minimum = $250k yr. You can pick up extra shifts to make more $ - as many as you want in order to make $300-500k yr
• There is support from house supervisor, ED, and Med/Surg RNs, but no NP or PA’s.
• average inpatient volume is about 3.5 (can get a high as 8 or so) and our ED volume is about 7.5-8 in a 24hr period.
• No ICU.
• Anesthesia is available/on-call for lines, if not anything further would be referred to general surgeon.

Profile we are seeking Hospitalist Internal Medicine , Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician.:

• this is seeing all ages so we need a Family Medicine Physician - Hospitalist or Emergency Medicine Physician.
• ED provider would need to do hospital rounding - will be the only provider there.
• ideal person has experience with rural health, strong ED and Hospital background, can hit quality metrics, flex with their schedule to help out, someone not too quick to transfer patients to other hospitals
• position is open because MD of 16 years is moving near his kids in NC
