Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician Part Time 78414BR Job Summary The ideal candidate for this Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician will have a strong interest in critical care medicine with superior clinical and teaching skills. The hired candidate will provide nighttime coverage for the Medical ICU teams on the Parnassus campus. Work will involve supervising care and procedures on both the housestaff team and the APP team, with support from an in-house critical care fellow. NOTE: This is a part time night shift position. The number of nights will be determined pending clinical need and applicant interest. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Department Description The Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine Division and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Lung Biology Center in the Department of Medicine (DOM) have a long history of providing outstanding clinical care, performing innovative research and training academic scientists and physicians. We currently have active, well-funded clinical, translational and basic research programs in lung development, international lung health, pulmonary immunology, genetics of pulmonary and allergic diseases, lung transplantation, microbial pathogenesis, airway diseases, acute lung injury, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary malignancies and pulmonary health disparities.
