We are currently seeking a Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physicianto join this Premier Practice in South Florida at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital & Medical Center and its New Free-Standing Emergency Department slated to open in 2024. To complement this excellent clinical and administrative opportunity the Department of EM offers the opportunity for faculty appointment at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the rank/title of assistant professor or higher, depending on qualifications. Aventura is only 15 miles to Miami!

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital & Medical Center Practice Profile:

• This Level II Trauma Center treats over 60,000 patients annually at the Main Campus
• 40% admission rate
• Physician coverage allowing for a comfortable PPH of 2.16
• 24-hour in-house Trauma, Intensivist, Anesthesia, and Hospitalist coverage
• GME Programs in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, Radiology, Transitional Year and Podiatry

Aventura FSED is anticipated to open early 2024 with an estimated Volume of 10,000 patient visits annually.

Criteria: MD or DO. Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited or acceptable equivalent post graduate training program in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM).

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) is a 407-bed, acute care community hospital providing the residents of Miami-Dade and Broward counties with award-winning inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, medical, surgical and cancer services. AHMC has been nationally recognized as a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center and an AHCA Comprehensive Stroke Center as well as being an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care amongst other awards and accolades.
