Our team at Norton Children's in Louisville, Kentucky would like to discuss the possibility of you joining our Pediatric Emergency Medicine team.
Norton Children's, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, is a pediatric healthcare system designed “Just for Kids” that brings compassionate, skilled pediatric care to over 250,000 patients annually across Kentucky, Indiana and the surrounding region. Our medical facilities feature 344 inpatient pediatric beds between our downtown and community hospitals, 2 standalone multispecialty ambulatory buildings, a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, and home to the award winning “Just for Kids” Transport Team. The Pediatric Emergency Department has over 60 exam rooms and is responsible for the evaluation and management of over 70,000 patients per year.
Norton Children's is ranked by U.S. News & World Report in six specialties, has academic appointments with the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, conducts high-quality, cutting-edge research with the Norton Research Institute which facilitates over 1,000 trials and studies involving more than 30 specialties.
The Pediatric Emergency Medicine team consists of 50 total providers between Faculty, Clinicians and Advanced Practice Providers and has a strong track record of promotion and mentorship for career advancement.
Qualifications:
MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Interest in clinical research, resident training, or quality improvement work is a plus, but not required for consideration. Strong commitment to collaboration, clinical excellence and teamwork.
