The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University is recruiting a Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine. Reporting to the Dean of the Boonshoft School of Medicine, this position is responsible for building and leading an outstanding department and residency program encompassing its missions of education, research, scholarship and service.

Candidates must possess a MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine by either ABEM or AOBEM, be qualified for appointment at the rank of associate professor or full professor at a LCME accredited medical school, and be eligible to obtain a medical license in the state of Ohio. The successful candidate must have at least ten years of progressive leadership experience at an academic medical center with a record of professional accomplishments on a national and international scale, with a strong focus on academic and clinical success and a commitment to diversity.
