Envision Physician Services and Ocala Health are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at Trailwinds Village ER, a freestanding ER located in Wildwood, Florida.

Facility Information

Trailwinds Village ER, a free-standing emergency department of HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, cares for residents and visitors in the fast-growing Wildwood community. This brand new freestanding ED provides 24/7 emergency care to adult and pediatric patients. It is equipped with 11 private exam rooms, a designated trauma room, comprehensive laboratory services, diagnostic imaging on-site, including CT, Ultrasound and Xray. Trailwinds Village ER offers emergency and life-saving care for all needs.

Wildwood is located in Sumter County and is less than an hour away from Orlando. Wildwood is known as “the transportation hub” because it’s at the crossroads of four major high- ways: I-75, U.S. 301, SR 44, and the Florida Turnpike. Wildwood is one of the fastest growing cities in Florida and the area offers residents a suburban, hometown feel. A new 110-acre recreational complex is currently being developed in sections and should serve the needs of city residents of all ages for many years to come. Local attractions include the Russell Stover Candy Factory, farmers markets and many local recreational parks. The Villages Charter School, a top rated school in Florida is also located within close proximity of the Wildwood area.
