The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician/intensivist. Applicant must have an M.D. degree from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas Medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. This faculty position will have responsibilities and duties of patient care including attending on inpatient MICU service, interpretation of PFTs, performing bronchoscopies and other critical care procedures, and teaching of residents and subspecialty fellows at Parkland Hospital and University Ambulatory. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
