EMCM is the first completely new medical center to be built in the southeastern Pennsylvania region, including the city of Philadelphia, in at least a decade. Opened in 2012, EMCM provides many new healthcare services and resources previously unavailable in the surrounding catchment area including advanced medical and surgical care, diagnostic testing services, a neonatal intensive care unit, and 24-hour emergency care. Located on 87 acres in East Norriton, PA, EMCM brings the exceptional experience of Einstein Healthcare Network to the community of central Montgomery County.EMCM has established residency training programs in a variety of specialties, to date they include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Care, and Radiology. This is a unique opportunity to continue to shape and lead a new EM training site with multispecialty programs. Einstein Healthcare Network is dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of its communities and its employees and is poised to develop an innovative, cutting-edge Emergency Medicine training opportunity at EMCM.In this role you will be responsible for:Oversight of our new Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program which started 2021Providing a top-notch curriculum, overseeing education and clinical care in all program-related patient care areasCollaborating with established GME programs (including EM at our main campus) at Einstein Medical Center - PhiladelphiaMaintaining compliance with ACGME institutional and program requirementsRecruitment and development of educational staffCollaborating with other new residency programs at EMCM as they develop (deleted the programs in parenthesis)Participating in GME-related Committees, subcommittees and task forces (including program representation at all Program Director meetings), and Internal Review panels as requested.If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:MD or DO from an accredited program and completion of an approved EM residencyBoard Certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Board of Osteopathic Emergency MedicineAbility to obtain a PA medical licenseMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Emergency MedicineMinimum of 3 years as a core faculty member in an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Program and/or experience in medical education leadership, preferably as an Assistant or Associate Residency Director.
