Summary
Physician - Urgent Care - HSHS Medical Group - Springfield, Illinois
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Physician (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Pediatrics will all be considered) for our Priority Care Clinic in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Practice Highlights
- Well established, Walk-In practice
- Clinic is open 8am-8pm, 7 days per week
- 6 Urgent Care providers employed at this location along with multiple PRN providers
- 5 exam rooms designated to the Urgent Care clinic
- Occupational Health and one primary care provider are also in the building
Position Requirements
- Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligibility
- 2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required
Position Details
- 14 shifts per month per provider, all shifts are 12 hour shifts
- Weekends within the month vary
- Holidays rotate throughout the year
- Support staff on each shift consist of 1-2 front desk clerks and 2-3 clinical support staff
- Clinical support staff can be an MA, an RN, or both.
- EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefits Package
- Base guarantee with opportunity to out-earn with productivity bonuses.
- 20 days off per year
- 1 extra day off is earned each year of service until 10 extra days have been earned with 10 years of service, which would give a total of 30 days off.
- CME Reimbursement + days available per fiscal year
- Opportunities to earn patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses
- Commencement bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance all available
Qualifications
Education
Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience
Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
Must be board certified or board eligible.
