EMERGENCY MEDICINE POSITION-Monroe Medical CenterOchsner LSU Health System-Monroe Medical Center and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport seek applicants for an Emergency Medicine physician position. Must be board certified/ board eligible in Emergency Medicine and eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine . We are looking for a skilled and experienced Emergency Room (ER) Doctor to join our medical facility's emergency room department. Experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting is preferred.
The chief responsibilities will include treating patients with life-threatening illnesses, establishing effective patient care plans and referring patients to the appropriate specialists. To excel in this highly stressful environment, the ideal candidate should have superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with excellent judgment skills.

* Team of 6-9 physicians
* 5 APPs
* Collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient.
* EPIC medical record platform utilized
This position:
* Combines teaching, patient care and medical research
* Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents
