Emergency Medicine physician job in Alaska : Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a Per Diem role for Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a key member of the Emergency Department for this 25-bed critical-access hospital, you will play a vital role in the overall health for multiple communities throughout the entire region. You will be joining a tight-knit and community-oriented team while also receiving support from the larger Providence Medical Group organization whenever needed. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality care to an underserved population while living in one of the most naturally stunning areas in the state of Alaska.

Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is the sole provider of acute and emergency care for Kodiak Island. Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Level IV trauma center by the State of Alaska, this 25-bed critical-access hospital plays an indispensable role in the lives of 14,000 Kodiak residents, the Coast Guard base and neighboring villages. With a state-of-the-art MRI and 64-slice CT, this hospital receives high marks, and providers are able to offer advanced care.
