We are seeking a board certified/eligible interventional pulmonologist for our Pulmonary/Critical Care practice which blends advanced quaternary care, academic teaching, and competitive compensation with a sustainable lifestyle. Join our highly collegial group of 40 experienced Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians. In addition to having completed an interventional pulmonology fellowship, the preferred should have experience in advanced pleural procedures, including medical thoracoscopy/pleuroscopy, and percutaneous tracheostomy.

Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine
Licenses -
Current M.D. or D.O. license for the state of Michigan.
Current State of Michigan and Federal Narcotics Licenses.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Specific to SHMG: ACLS required if stress test is performed or as required by specialty. 120 Days

Practice Highlights:
- Full spectrum of interventional pulmonology including robotic bronchoscopy, cone beam CT, and therapeutic procedures including rigid bronchoscopy, airway stenting, medical thoracoscopy/pleuroscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy
- Lung/Heart transplantation
- Multiple subspecialty outpatient clinics; Interventional pulmonology, Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Sarcoidosis and Sleep Medicine
- Mix of inpatient (ICU and consultative services) and outpatient clinical time
- Multidisciplinary clinic for Lung Cancer care
- Two state-of-the-art medical ICUs
- Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac/Thoracic ICU, with VV/VA ECMO
