Emergency Medicine physician job in Texas : Austin Texas: Emergency Medicine
Dates needed: ASAP ongoing through August 2023... Possible extension after August
Schedule: mixture of 8-10 hour shifts; will accommodate 12 hour shift if desired
Patient Ages: All Ages
Volume: 33,000 annually; 90 ppd across all shifts
Cases: level IV trauma facility emergency medicine cases
Procedures: ABGs, A-lines, c-lines, chest tubes, arthrocentesis, intubation, closed reduction fracture, foreign body removal, incision and drainage, nerve block, resuscitation, defibrillation, etc.
Support Staff: Solo MD; NP/PA from 12p - 10p; RNs; Specialty consults
Charting: Cerner Dynamic Doc
Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 months; Temp privs can be granted
Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
