Envision Physician Services and Dover Free Standing Emergency Department (Part of Portsmouth Regional Hospital) are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team located in Dover, NH.

Emergency Department Profile:

• 8,000 annual visits
• Fully integrated with Portsmouth Regional Hospital
• 24 hours of Physician coverage
• 11 treatment rooms
• All private treatment rooms
• State of the art imaging, including CT, ultrasound and contemporaneous radiology readings
• Ambulance bay for EMS access
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
• BC/BE Emergency Medicine required (ABEM/AOBEM)

Facility Information

Portsmouth Regional Hospital has opened a new free standing emergency department in Dover, New Hampshire. The 10,000 square foot facility provides 11 treatment rooms, including bays for trauma care, behavioral health and pediatric care. Patients receiving care at the emergency department benefit from a coordinated patient care experience including extensive specialty care services and resources offered by Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The emergency department offers full emergency diagnostic testing including onsite 24/7 CT scan, ultrasound, and complete laboratory testing.

Portsmouth Regional is a 209-bed acute care hospital located in Portsmouth, NH, and is part of HCA, the nation’s largest provider of healthcare services. Portsmouth Regional Hospital serves the seacoast region’s residents in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts and is also one of the area’s largest employers. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is the only Level II Trauma Center on the Seacoast and one of only three in New Hampshire to earn this important distinction.
