Job Details

We are seeking a BC/EM Trained physician to practice at the Newly constructed Emergency Department and Hospital that opened November 2021 in Broward County at Nova Southeastern University's Davie campus.! This is a very stable and well respected EM group and offers the right professional a unique opportunity for diverse practice experience. Qualified candidates must be BC/EM (ABEM or AOBEM) with current ACLS and PALS.

• HCA Florida University Hospital features a 16-bed Emergency Room.
• Year 1 projected volume of 21,000
• Admission rate: 15-20%
• It includes a 256 slice CT, full radiology and US capabilities as well as an efficient team of nurses.
• Presently the Emergency Department provides 24 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage. We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessary.

Offerings include a 24/7 emergency department with board-certified emergency physicians, maternity, orthopedics, oncology, neurosciences, diagnostic services and a full range of robotic and minimally invasive surgical services. HCA Florida University Hospital features all private patient rooms and is located adjacent to the campus of Nova Southeastern University. The opening of the $360 million hospital is expected to increase training and research opportunities for the two medical schools at NSU.
