Centra Lynchburg General Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join its team in Lynchburg, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the group that's opening Virginia's first EmPATH unit, which is expected to open in Spring 2023. With the adoption of the new program, more beds will be available for emergency patients and psychiatric patients will receive better care right away. Join a highly dedicated and mission-driven Emergency Medicine team located in the welcoming community of Lynchburg, Virginia.
- Full-time with 12-hour shifts and no call responsibilities
- Be part of Virginia's first EmPATH unit

Centra Lynchburg General Hospital is a 358-bed, award-winning emergency and critical care center specializing in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery. It is home to a national benchmark facility for cardiac care, a Level II Trauma Center, the region's only Certified National Primary Stroke Center, and a National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The hospital is also QOPI® Certified and has achieved Magnet Status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
