Big Sky ED Physician Opportunity
We are currently hiring a physician to provide ED staffing at Big Sky Medical Center. The ideal candidate is a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Physician in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. This position is a 1.0 FTE with the opportunity to work additional clinic coverage.
Emergency room shifts are 12 hours, 6a-6p & 6p-6a. A 1.0 FTE can expect to work 13-14 shifts per month (164 shifts annually). Volumes are higher in the busy ski season and Yellowstone national park summer season. Busy season averages 15-25 patients per 24 hours. Off season averages
The work includes >95% emergency room coverage and intermittent acute inpatient work. The inpatient coverage is
Applicants must be comfortable working alone in a small ER with a small team of nurses. Must be ER board certified/eligible or FM board certified/eligible with ATLS, ACLS, & BLS and Emergency Department experience.

Heli-pad on sight for air ambulance transfers
Four-bed inpatient unit (can increase to 8 beds)
Diagnostic imaging center with general radiology, CT scanner (24/7/365), and MRI (weekdays). Ultrasound 1 day per week.

Integrated pharmacy with extended retail pharmacy
Compensation and Benefits:

$3500 toward CME
