Fairview Health Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to provide clinical care at M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center's Emergency Department a Level IV Trauma center and is 17 beds, which includes 2 trauma/critical care rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms.

Practice Details:
  • Join a team of 11 Physicians and 3 APPs
  • Average number of Emergency Department visits annually: 21,000+
  • 6 - 1.0 FTE
  • Shifts are 12 hours: 7a-7p, 10a-10p and 7p-7a
  • Support staff of RNs, ED Techs, HUCs, NAs and come scribe coverage
  • Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Emergency Medicine, Family medicine, Internal Medicine or similar residency training programs
  • BC/BE with American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

Vaccination Update

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Fairview employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before October 31, 2021. Beginning August 9, 2021, any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
