TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time assistant medical director to provide compassionate care at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center in Casa Grande, Arizona. In this role you will work with all levels of hospital management and will support the facility medical director. Banner Casa Grande Medical Center receives and annual volume of 40,000. The 16-bed emergency department (ED) has 36 hours of physician coverage and 22 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage. The ED sees moderate acuity patients with an 18% admission rate and a 14% pediatric population. The EMR is Cerner. There is an EMS base station with 24-hour helicopter service. Candidates should be board eligible/board certified in emergency medicine. We ask that you have two years practice experience in emergency medicine.
