Looking for NIGHTS ONLY Physician: Jupiter Medical Center has a full-service, twenty-seven bed Emergency Department offering our community emergency medical care twenty-four hours a day. The department staff consists of Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians, Board Certified Pediatricians, clinically trained Emergency Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Registration & Clerical Staff and Case Management.
Candidates must be BC/BP in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) (AOBEM).
The Emergency Department has seen a significant volume growth averaging 7% annual increase each of the past three years. The total ED volume is 40,000 patient visits with about 12% pediatric. Our admission rate averages 23%.

- Cardiac - 24 hour cardiac catheterization team on-call.Jupiter Medical Center is working towards Open Heart designation and seeking recognition as a Chest Pain Center.
- Neurology - Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center and working towards Comprehensive Stroke designation.
- Pediatrics - 24 hour Pediatric ED and construction is in progress for a designated and separate Pediatric Emergency Department.
- On-Call Specialty Roster includes General Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurology (incomplete), Otolaryngology (incomplete), Urology (incomplete), Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Hospitalist.
