The Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a candidate to be an integral part of our faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial team that is passionate about providing clinically excellent and compassionate care to all patients.
Our hospital partner, Nebraska Medicine is an ACS certified Level I trauma center with unmatched comprehensive care of highly specialized teams who work together to save lives and restore hope. As Nebraska's only public academic health sciences center, UNMC and Nebraska Medicine are committed to the education of a 21st century health care work force, to finding cures and treatments for devastating diseases, to providing the best care for patients, and to serving our state and its communities through award-winning outreach.
The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified or board eligible in Surgical Critical Care, have completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care, and demonstrate a strong interest in teaching residents and medical students.
Our compensation package is extremely competitive. In addition, comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are offered. Academic rank is dependent on qualifications.
