Sound Physicians is Building a New Elite Emergency Medicine team

Delano Regional Medical Center is a full-service community and regional teaching hospital. DRMC serves 10 rural central California towns and is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. With a total of 156 beds, DRMC is a not-for-profit hospital with services including an Intensive Care Unit, a Sub-Acute Care Unit, a Medical Surgical Unit, a dedicated Surgical Pavilion and an Obstetrics/Gynecology Unit.

  • Emergency Department
  • 28,000 annual patient volume
  • Cerner EMR
  • 24 hours of physician coverage; 16 hours of APP coverage
  • 15% admission
  • Sound Physicians Hospitalist program
  • Excellent independent contractor compensation with liability/malpractice coverage provided
  • Above 75th percentile MGMA

Requirements

  •  2 years of leadership experience
  • Board certification; ABEM required
