Responsibilities
Provide critical care in austere and limited resource environments
Work with other members of a small team, provides direct and individualized care to critical and postoperative patients
Perform examinations, making diagnoses and treating or prescribing a course of treatment for patients with critical conditions
Provide consultation and advice to patients and customers as the critical care subject matter expert
Ability to utilize a ventilator without additional support personnel
Document care provided and complete medical records in accordance with VIGILINT policy
Supervise nursing and support personnel if necessary
Based on qualifications and experience, may function in a leadership position
Perform special staff functions as required
Perform medical training and instruction when requested
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
Current ACLS/ALS, PALS, BLS training through American Heart Association or Red Cross
Current ATLS certification
Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or U.S. Territory
Current and unrestricted DEA license
Current/active civilian practice to maintain clinical currency during non-deployed periods
Current US Board Certification
Minimum of five (5) years U.S. Military or Government Sponsored experience
U.S. Military or Government Sponsored deployment within the last 3 years in an austere environment and combat-like conditions
Minimum eight (8) years' experience in Critical Care
United States citizen
Current United States Passport that will not expire within 1 year of employment
Active SECRET or higher security clearance
Successful candidates may be invited for an in-person assessment process
Must be at least two weeks past final COVID-19 vaccination before on-site orientation
Desired Qualifications
STRONGLY DESIRED: Experience working in the Military Special Operations Community
STRONGLY DESIRED: Previous experience providing critical care patient transport on flight and ground platforms
Previous Forward Resuscitation Surgical Team/Forward Surgical Team (FRST/FST) and/or CCAT experience
