Position Summary
FACULTY - PULMONARY/CRITICAL CARE SPECIALIST
The University of Nebraska Medical Center, (UNMC), Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep & Allergy in Omaha NE is recruiting two dynamic academic physicians for pulmonary/critical care specialist faculty positions. One of these positions will be involved in the provision of care at the Omaha VA Medical Center.
The Division consists of 22 faculty members and has fully accredited pulmonary/critical care medicine and sleep medicine fellowships. Our research labs are focused on research in airway inflammation injury and repair. The Division also has a very active Clinical Studies Unit involved in clinical trials for asthma, COPD, smoking cessation and cystic fibrosis.
This career opportunity provides a competitive benefits package and rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in pulmonary and critical care medicine and demonstrates a strong interest in teaching.
