Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin is recruiting full-time Pulmonary physicians in partnership with Dell Medical School. Physicians will work in the outpatient setting, participate in undergraduate and graduate medical education, and collaborate with other clinicians in Ascension Medical Group and Dell Medical School.

You will be employed by the Ascension Medical Group, a division of Ascension Health, one of the largest not for profit acute care hospital systems in the country, a strong stable employer that places a premium on physicians’ wellbeing. You will hold a faculty appointment at Dell Medical School, and participate in educational, scholarly, and faculty development activities.

Position Highlights

Work with an established group of physicians and dedicated outpatient APPs in an academic Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Physicians hold faculty appointments at Dell Medical School, supervising and educating fellows, residents, and medical students.

Work in the outpatient setting with access to a full range of diagnostic services, and care for patients with a variety of lung disorders such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung nodules, neuromuscular disease, and OSA, among others.

Entirely outpatient practice, with no call or weekend requirements.
The ambulatory practice setting is connected to Ascension Medical Center Austin, allowing for collaboration across the inpatient and outpatient settings.
The Athena electronic health record has been customized for the ambulatory pulmonary practice.
