St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, an academic teaching hospital and a major affiliate of both Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Medicine, is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to fill a clinician-educator position. The position offers an opportunity to both practice clinically in a tertiary care setting, as well as interact with and teach trainees at all levels, including pulmonary and critical care fellows. The ideal candidate will be suitable for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and will have demonstrated a track record of excellence in patient care and experience as an educator in academic settings to students, residents, and fellows.

This is a full-time position with leadership responsibilities for qualified individuals. Physician candidates should be comfortable and flexible in providing care across multiple settings and locations, including the outpatient clinic, ICU, inpatient pulmonary care, and eICU. Responsibilities include:

Attending on the MICU service
Attending on the inpatient pulmonary consult service
Outpatient pulmonary clinic
Overnight eICU shift coverage
Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
