Envision Physician Services and HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital are seeking Full and Part-Time EM Physicians to join our team at our NEW Stand Alone ER located at 9318 Panama City Beach Parkway. The freestanding emergency room is scheduled to open February 27, 2023. Qualified physician candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine with 5 years of Emergency Medicine experience.

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital announced construction on the new $11 million HCA Florida Breakfast Point Emergency in Panama City Beach, FL.

The one-story, 11,000-square-foot facility will be located at 9318 Panama City Beach Parkway, on the north side of the highway near its intersection with Moylan Road.

The facility will be a full-service, fully staffed emergency room. It will feature 11 emergency exam rooms, CT scans, general X-rays, and on-site laboratory services, and will be capable of caring for all ages, including pediatrics. This ER is expected to serve more than 10,000 patients a year and will employ about 30 full-time healthcare professionals, with additional staff hired to support growing needs.

• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital has spent more than $170 million on expansions since 2018. They are:

• Added a 24-bed inpatient medical and surgical unit tower, and 16 new beds to the intensive care unit
• Renovated and expanded the hospital's emergency department by adding 13 new beds
• Added 22 postpartum beds and renovations to the pediatric floor, antepartum department, women and children's unit and nursing unit
• Expanded its diagnostic and rehabilitation center by about 6,000 square feet
• Relocated its center for wound care to a renovated 4,000-square-foot space
• Opened HCA Florida Panama City Emergency
• Started an operating room and catheterization lab expansion project
