Ascension Wisconsin is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulm Critical Care Physician for our Intensivist Group.
Ascension Wisconsin has an exciting opportunity for a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
OPPORTUNITY
- Join a well-established practice in Southeastern, Wisconsin.
- 2 Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians
- 1 Nurse Practitioner with recruitment efforts to add additional NP
- Excellent Support staff consisting of:
- Nurse Support
- MA
- Office Assistant
- Call
- 1:4 Weekend/Week Day
- 1:4 ICU Coverage
- Growth opportunity in Productive Group
- Conveniently located on the campus of St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee and Elmbrook Memorial, Brookfield,
- Practice will consist of 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient with ICU Coverage
- Robust practice opportunities with Pulmonology outreach clinic located at Wauwatosa, St. Joseph's and Elmbrook Memorial
- Partnership with Oncology
- Standard Pulmonary Procedures
- EBUS an option but not required
- Strong respiratory group
- No night responsibilities - designated EICU team covering nights
- Strong Hospitalist team to support
- Multidisciplinary rounds are made by Physical Therapy, Social Work, and Pharmacy
- Well established referral base from Primary Care providers
- Epic
- Must be BE/BC in Pulmonary/Critical Care

- St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee with 24 bed OPEN ICU, located in the inner city, primarily underserved community
- Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Brookfield with 8 bed OPEN ICU, located in affluent suburban community
Job Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s):• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.Preferred Credential(s):• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA). Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Education:• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
