Envision Physician Services is searching for a Part-Time Guarantee (minimum 72 hours) Emergency Medicine Physician to become a part of our prestigious practice at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Quality candidates must be Emergency Medicine, American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).

ED Features:

• Volume 38K
• Physician Coverage: 6a-2p, 8a-6p, 2p-12a, 6p-6a
• APP Coverage: 10a-10p, 4p-4a
• 21-Bed ED with additional 5-bed Fast Track
• ED Physicians no NOT respond to codes on floor
• Hospitalist & Radiologist Managed by Envision
• PCI facility - Top 3 in County regarding number of STEMI's, Neurointerventionalist on site, CTA and CT perfusion capability, Hypothermia Protocol for post cardiac arrest patients, CCTA
• P-Doc Documentation. PACS system & computerized discharge and script writing, electronic physician order entry system, point of care test in the ED
• Internal Medicine Residency Program and Cardiology Fellowship Program
• 24-hour Ultrasound coverage and 24-hour reads on ALL radiologic exams.
• M*Modal Dictation System
• Occurrence Based Malpractice Insurance Provided

Facility Information

Northside Hospital is a 288-bed facility, offering a full range of services including interventional stroke care; full-service orthopedic and spine treatment; a 24-hour emergency department; preventative and corrective cardiac care; and general surgery. As the first Comprehensive Stroke Center in St. Petersburg, our technologically advanced facility allows our superior physicians and nursing staff to care for our growing community.
