No Duties and Responsibilities The Department of Emergency Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician. This position primarily focuses on the education of faculty, EM and rotating residents, and medical students, but responsibilities will also be clinical and administrative. There is also support to become involved in research projects, should this be of interest to the faculty member. The position will include a faculty appointment to Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes occurrence based malpractice coverage. Applicants should be licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hire.Loyola is an active EMS Resource Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, regional burn center, and cardiovascular facility with an active aero-medical transport program. Loyola Medicine is a quaternary care system based in the western suburbs of Chicago that includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in Maywood, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital (GMH) in Melrose Park, MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and convenient locations offering primary and specialty care services from 1,772 physicians throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties.Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) is a 547-licensed-bed quaternary hospital in Maywood, Illinois that includes the William G. & Mary A.
