Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group, a partner with JPS Health Network is seeking a motivated and ambitious physician to join the Pulmonary, Critical Care Division of the Internal Medicine Department as a Full Time Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician.

Job Summary:

In this full time role the physician selected will have the opportunity to teach our Emergency Medicine and Family Practice residents and local medical students Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The role would entail responsibilities in the ICU and both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine. The hospital and clinic locations are located at the main JPS Health Network campus just south of downtown Fort Worth. Join our collegial and team focused group of Intensivists in our very new 36 bed ICU

Specific Details: ICU:

Rotating schedule of days and nights

Teaching opportunities with Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents

Number of shifts determined by percentage of critical care coverage (vs pulmonary)

Medical ICU (covering cardiology, neurology / stroke, general medical needs)

Average of 15 - 20 patients per day

Closed ICU

Working location for this position is at the main JPS Health Network campus, only

Specific Details: Outpatient Pulmonary:

Number of clinics determined by percentage of pulmonary time

14-16 patients per day

Within our medicine specialty clinic

Tremendous pathology including possibility of sleep medicine if desired

Pulmonary, Critical Care Team:

1 Interventional Pulmonologist & 1 Family Medicine and Intensivist

11 Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physicians

4 Pulmonologist APP

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
  • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible.
