About emCareers

emCareers is the dedicated career center for emergency medicine physicians, residents, and medical students and connects thousands of American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) members to 53 Chapters across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C.

emCareers is jointly run by ACEP and the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA) to provide education, support and engagement to these medical professionals during all phases of their careers.

It is the premier place where emergency physicians can build their careers and where hospitals and medical centers can find the best qualified professionals in the field.

Founded in 1968 by a small group of physicians who shared a commitment to improving the quality of emergency care, ACEP set out to educate and train physicians in emergency medicine to provide quality emergency care in the nation’s hospitals.
